MONTE VISTA MINISTRIES

The 14th of March we will continue with our study of the Gospel according to Matthew. We will be looking at 2 events that Jesus is dealing with. The first event is found in chapter 8 verses 14 -17. Jesus goes to the house of Peter and Peter's mother in law is sick with a fevor. He heals her and the word gets out and Jesus heals many others from the same community. In the following section, verses 18-22 Jesus moves to the other side of the lake and some of the people following want to make a statement of commitment. Jesus puts these statements of faith into perspective.
